OTHER NOTES:

...I was to watch the following on iplayer, last night:

VALHALLA RISING
THE EXTRAORDINARY COLLECTOR
episodes 23 and 24 of ZIG AND ZAG

first up...'Valhalla rising'...I can remember BI after a private viewing...'zachariah' was answering questions about the film....

what else?...'daddy rockefeller' was to say that it could be 'useful'...a measured response....anyway, I can now remember where it had all began...sally tallant at dartington...she had written a script...pretty much the same...as the plot of Valhalla rising...and I can remember asking her about the choice of subject matter ....along the lines of....."but there are no women in it"...mainly because she had just come out as a lesbian, at the time...anyway, roll on the years and somebody must have unearthed that script and then 'got it made'...but I have no details as to who or why....as yet. "the taschmanns probably" replies MI5 ONLINE...well that is what I am thinking...as well as why had sally thought it so important to write - the original story......

....and the location of 'hell' in the film - looks a bit like Sutton hoo....and therefore my guess is that she had most probably been writing about some horrific MOD event upon Dartmoor...watch the film, if you can bear it...not for the squeamish...to the point where 'one eye' builds a pile-of-stones...see previous notes upon what andy bell had seen....whilst making his spoof horror movie....oh and gill might know more about it all...he had taken that b/w photo of a shaven-headed CF....after having drawn a pattern in black ink upon his face (to 'out' his programming)....a bit like those tattooed men in the film....

oh and if I use colour-pattern recognition upon the whole thing...well remember that 'red hat' that photobombed the royal couple...add to that the AIDS virus image....and then that 'red fly-mo' that I was to photograph in ARGOS display windows, the other day because the fly-mo image had reminded me of that massive 'red hat'...to then watch those 'red scenes' in the movie...and what have you got? 'one-eyed, red fly-mo man'....I thought...and then began to laugh...even though, of course it isn't funny at all...unless it were made into a spoof horror movie and you added the benny hill music to it...

what else? well Nicholas serota was the linking factor between Valhalla rising and 'the extraordinary collector' because if there were a linking factor to  be found at all...it was the 'tallanted team' I suppose....

what else? I can remember gill and I...having a quick chat with the 'lady who owns the cutting edge art gallery'...during which I mentioned 'fur coat and no knickers' in relation to somebody that none of us liked...somebody who was 'no lady'...gallery owner was to ask me what that meant - she hadn't heard 'that one' before...a northern expression that I had picked up from my mother's family...and so anyway, she then talks about that one, in the interview....however she says "all fur and no knickers"...a reference to Tomlinson...as the 'fur-king'....oh and 'bête noire' also came up....in relation to him...Tomlinson in covonia bull alter?...go figure...

...and those two episodes of 'zig and zag'?...just getting uptodate with whatever the substitutes for toddy and scarlett are up to - nowadays, I suppose...
