let me think...in relation to 'dodgy electrical goods'...I had a look in WILKO the other day...to see a 'blow up santa' along with a 'blow up snowman'....I didn't check whether you are supposed to fill them up with air or water...'water' would make more sense in relation to weight....anyway the point about them was....that they had a light inside of them....I was then to remember scarlett's tannoy telling me to buy one for my parents - to entertain the grandchildren with at Christmas....my immediate thought was "no, that looks highly dangerous"....and so - I'd better check that item-on-sale-in-WILKO's again, tomorrow...I suppose....was the idea that some people would fill them up with water (rather like a waterbed) instead air? go figure...
