oh and another thing 'disk defragmenter' doesn't appear to work on this laptop either...it is 'stuck' on 52%....odd that - I was to tell 'mr rnli governor' that I was 52 today....we discussed quite a few things including dementia....he was to laugh that I certainly wasn't suffering from that...

anyway, to all intents and purposes...this laptop is back to normal again...
