let us now go back to US intelligence wondering what was up...how come MI6 JOHN had been 'sighted'...albeit only as a very tall grey 'shadow line' moving up the street....
rimington knew what 'that one' was all about....and it begins with the 'ready brek' tv advertisement...my generation can probably remember it well....an early morning school 'run'....dark, wet winter mornings...but hey, the 'ready brek kids are all right'...their stomachs are glowing....you can see them in the dark....
"the reddi brick" as rimington was to call it...in short, a microchipped stomach....and the reddi family in Solihull? something along those lines....anyway, apparently john had had one of those chips...in his tum....which had interfered....played havoc with 'network control' let us say, at the time....

....oh and I wonder now...my 'joke' to browne, as a teenager...regarding recent riots in b'ham....up to acocks green...."let's hit Solihull!" she was to tell me, in her 'absolutely fabulous PATSY' way - one weekend...."okay" I replied "got your brick in your handbag?"....she fell about laughing...and then told me not to say that sort of thing again in public...because it might be taken the wrong way....
let me see...I was referring to thatcher as well, in a way...who was famous for carrying around a handbag...which some people had inferred...'probably had a brick in it'....
an MOD 'brick' is another term for a walkie talkie...
