and what is of most interest to me...is the mention of TALBOTS....you see - after my parents had got married...the first place that they were to live in...was a rented flat in a building called TALBOT PLACE...near to all saints primary school, Blackheath...my father was to go and see the 'top flat' a while ago...it was up for rent...I suppose that it might have jogged his memory about a few things...who knows?
