hmmm.....della had a thing about 'toilets' at dartington....the only imagery that she had wanted to use, in her artwork.."toilet humour" as jacqui jones had once put it...anyway, della was to tell me that the whole place was just one big toilet....dartington hall, the whole lot and not just the art department ....if only i had known then what i know now....e.g. SAS captain scottie calling a brain-washing facility in afghanistan a 'toilet factory'...well, that is what they had figured it was and so they bombed it etc etc...where your head gets held under....more than just 'school bullying' etc etc....go figure:

ah, somebody figures that it is more a star-shape....anyway, i was wondering if one could also do it with an octagon or which country you might choose to use that as a template for etc etc....and yes, this is all for pat's department....technical drawing....how would you teach your class to draw the british isles etc etc...a military/survival skill in a way, if you don't have a map with you and you want to rough out, in order to show somebody etc etc:
....granted, you have to be able to draw the star first before adding on etc etc...lol...a hexagon might be an easier starting point...or perhaps, with the star version...getting back to basics i.e. the pentagon...er a reduction from 6 points to 5:
