.....and what's new this monday evening, dazzlenation?...well, i'm not sure what you could possibly have for 'this'...lol....but anyway, i'm currently having a look at images regarding a tale that charles spencer had told in that 'rabbithole' book....apparently alexander the great had etc etc....go figure:

ah, that 'fish-feeding' frenzy number:

the city of tyre and the phoenicians (mark r had identified with them - see previous notes upon 'all of that').....along with some fascinating finds, some of which might find themselves in another edition of the 'rabbithole' book?...anyway, this is something around if we don't learn the lessons of history, we are doomed to repeat them...upon a personal level as much as a national one etc etc....you have to make mistakes in order to learn - however at a national level, some lessons are so easily forgotten...buried in the mists of time:

anyway, back to that 'alexander' story...if they had used a diving bell of sorts - at tyre....then it would have been to find out how to blow up the harbour....along with other wooden constructions...a bit like lake-dwellers etc etc?
