...and what else, dazzlenation?...apart from 'briggs' programming in random 'number grids' etc etc...well,we have a certain number regarding desks that had responded to it...for example, the macklin 'n' smith desk had noted it...to then tell their network....judy elliot had been worried that her father might have been the 'mister geli' that sarah turner had outlined - in transmissions/footage from dartington - mid 80s....hmmm...suffice to say - turner was also caught-on-cam talking about sylvia - as being the 'mrs pringle' of the joos....."an acquisition" that was going to makka da money for turner's entire network....see previous posts regarding that 'miss read' series...one that turner had loved so much...ended up with turner staying at swinton's 'second home' in the cottswolds....and after two strokes - no doubt from crack cocaine addiction, as much as anything else, sarah turner then...er....well, there is no further data available....lol...let me guess....missing persons' list?....go figure.
...and i am left with the thought of 'mrs pringle'...seen in the book as a 'tartar'......hmmm a bit 'russian'?...as ray fishwick had once laughed in the late 60s...."you are our queen!" to sylvia.....the queen of trevor nunn's desk...whilst he popped another pringle's crisp out of a container....oh and sarah turner had laughed about that - couldn't and wouldn't to save her life etc etc....she was born to 'better things'...sylvia's maxim?...."if you do it badly, nobody will ask you to do it again' etc etc...and well, that much was true.....sylvia had never been a real cleaner, to her mind....as turner had pointed out "she was never a real cleaner, she'd been..."...in reality, just a 'cleaning cupboard' radio witch for those who had promised her stardom....and yet the horrorshow still goes on - with the local church in combs, refusing to take sylvia's ashes....and the local council agreeing to oscar, ed, ''n' James - throwing a part of them (the other part is supposed to go where he goes ie. that lake in switzerland),....throwing them upon a tiny partition of land, not useful for farming....muddy, derelict...a bit 'potter's field'....where they used to bury those outcast from etc etc....and yet oscar, ed and james - still want to do 'that'....plant a plum tree...rather than a plum line, perhaps?...lol...remember gill's tardy best friend - locally, programmed in as the local 'carl-is-bad-plumber'.....tallant 'n jaqui jones might put you right - carlsbad plums - apparently a delicacy according to 'miss read 'books.....and well, to all accounts etc etc...lol....he doesn't show up anymore, let us say...another 'missing persons' list number?...full-circle then etc etc...as it goes, eh?
...a postscript to the above, this monday morning, dazzlenation...first up - it had been judy elliot's father....lol....apparently he had visited totnes...just the once, mark you...to find out what had been going down....he investigated to find out that rodway had been in to see turner.....in the transmissions - turner had told tallant et al...that rodway had explained it all...how sylvia was key to everything and rodway controlled her etc etc....oh and the 'geli' number had been his signature in the guest book...of a certain hotel upon the plains...the one that rimington had stayed at.....see previous notes upon 'all of that'....perhaps i'd better explain 'that one' a bit further...he had laughed about his daughter's love of 'george eliot' and thought that it would be amusing to call himself that.....hence the signature in the guestbook, that turner had found.....but not the ID...which would have explained the letters hastily written....'geli'....go figure.
...next up we have pauline collins performing her version of 'mother courage' at reps up and down the country...including warwick arts centre...(odd how 'wiki' doesn't mention it upon her entry).....now she and sylvia had gone way back....to when they were 'just married' - both couples had rented flats in talbot place...edwin apps had been her husband - remember 'gas and gaiters' etc etc?...however, pauline 'n' sylvia were to fall out badly, during supper at 14 st bernards road, late 70s....after collins had called sylvia a fool for believing that the casting couch would get her anywhere...she had to get out there and do it....the casting couch isn't the only way to the top....and as one can see - collins (her maiden name, as far as i know - after she and edwin had separated) had had the courage and the 'nous' to understand the situation, only too well...to then write and produce her own one-woman-show...the gyde family went to see it, at warwick arts centre - collins dressed in a huge communist overcoat, massive boots - pots and pans hanging by strings down her back....staggering through the wind and rain...the indomitable 'tartar' spirit of mother russia/mother courage etc etc.....shirley valentine was to follow...and pauline was walking red carpets ever afterwards.....oh and sylvia had gone into such a rage, at the time...that collins had had to exit swiftly - made excuses for having not told sylvia that she was actually going to stay the night with friends up the road but thanks for the supper...disappeared out of the frontdoor and into the night....so fast....obviously knew her old friend only too well, having over stepped the mark....lol.....sylvia then returned to her window pane reflection...clenching and unclenching her fists in an effort to get her fury under control....and not reach for the carving knife etc etc.....sometimes it took hours, more often days...."possessed by that dark matter energy" replies BI online...yes, i can now see where that all-consuming rage had come from.....as it goes, eh?....anyway, the whole 'tartar' number brings up the taschmanns....who had identified with the tartars...as a warlike nomadic tribe on horseback..... as one of their 'numbers' let us say....remember the fen-men troupe....along with the ashkenazim minyan job...although at base level - it had really been all about 'clockwork oranges'....alex the gang-leader talking quasi-slavic to his droogs etc etc....and so if one looks at the wider view...to include BBC/MI5 reports of russian pseudo-scientific documentaries going viral on the net...well, look at all of those 'tartar' numbers that have cropped up, recently.......go figure.
