i remember my time in poland, so well...families used to travel from all over, to be present at the gravesides....the usual protocol was to apparently update the dead with family news, in a familiar way...as if they were still living etc etc.....whereas toddy used to love the mexican day of the dead...i didn't know that they flew kites in guatemala, in order to reunite the dead with the living etc etc...what a lovely idea......go figure:
