....oh aren't these marvellous pics, dazzlenation?...reminds me of a story that i had once written for portsmouth's english class O' level course....he had disliked pigeons - considered them to be 'vermin'....hmmm....personally speaking, i have always loved pigeons in town squares....i suppose that is because of the winged element....the representation of birds as angelic...."closer to the heavens" replies BI online....remember my pigeon photos - in st mark's square, venice?...puts the heart back into the centre of the city...and in a sort of anarchic way...the fluttering of wings, as they fight for food etc etc...and then there's pest control...because too many, is always a problem...i can remember so many complaints about those rather dirty swans, upon manningtree estuary....because they were to proliferate...so many more, every year...not to mention those 'attacking gulls' in clacton...and now, in these 'covid-ridden' times...what with 'asian bird' flu scares etc etc.....go figure:

Feeding the Pigeons on London's Trafalgar Square in 1967 - Flashbak
