....and there's more, dazzlenation...roll on the years....browne and i were young teenagers....mr browne knew of something that cured 'chesty coughs'....a brown bottle of 'bronchial' syrup - available from behind the counter, at boots.....no longer available...hasn't been for decades....anyway, mr browne used to claim that it had a "secret ingredient"....which made it the only thing that actually cured etc etc....i was to show sylvia, the bottle...she was to say that it was some kind of expectorant...and that she would ask tony...who then said that it reminded him of something that he had tried upon his travels....he then decided to program himself in as the 'inspector-ant'...oh and there's more....tomlinson was to come round....and so yes, this had been around about the time of that MI5 russian course....and glug from the bottle...apparently it was a bit 'psychedelic' or something like that - if you drank too much...which he then proceeded to do....go figure:
