well, i really like your metaphor 'eggymoo' but i would say...and probably in a very ignorant way because this is off the top of my head...that the christmas pudding has a lot of unnecessary tin foil/silver paper/tinsel/plastic decor all over it and little balls of that-sort-of-thing buried near to the surface but i wouldn't go so far as to say that etc etc...or am i missing something, here?
