oh and bizarrely enough, the above 'clasp' is linked upon the timer system...to a comic poem read by howard jacobson....BBC radio 4...who describes himself as an anti-clasper, during these covid times....who really needs a hug 'n' another person's germs, anyway? etc etc....at first, i had thought that i was listening to an 'alan bennett' monologue:
