oh and then there's the 'fugue' state...."he's gone into a fugue"...my mother used to say about my father, amongst others...she used to say it about ed, too...anyway, I now 'get' why she used to go on at my father about 'unaccounted for time' because sometimes he would come home 'in that state'....go figure:
