to sum up so far....having looked at 'trouble in the ivory towers' along with that donkey sanctuary...we're looking at the don-keys, aren't we? see previous notes upon programmed Whitehall 'mules' etc etc...

oh and upon the above note....I was to have a recurring nightmare, last night...a simple theme...although the location sometimes varies...along the lines of...I am at a university (although not one that I have attended)...I am doing a course that lasts a year....I haven't done any of the essays, been to any of the lectures, nor had a tutorial with my tutor (and the year is almost up)...it is then suggested to me that I book an interview with my tutor....this is another form of ill cult callback, isn't it? the recall signal is still active...see previous notes upon the ill taking you back to school in a child alter...except that with me - they prefer to call it 'university'....anyway, the whole nightmare reminds me somewhat of my time at Essex (although it is never Essex in my dreams) at 20 years' old...and therefore when I awake, I have to remind myself that I am 53 years' old...and that there is no reason to continue the feelings within the dream i.e. irrational 'guilt' at under-performing...being non-cooperative etc etc...oh and the really weird thing about the dream...is that I have a room on campus....lots of other students around, whom I am friendly with...but I have no idea of what course I am on...never mind what I should be studying (although I vaguely know the department - a sort of social sciences/politics dept with a literature/philosophy option)...go figure.
