well yesterday evening...I was to think about Cameron's resignation 'in context'...and then turn it over in my mind....

'what if the remain campaign had won?' I thought...'would the queen have resigned? of course not - it is an entirely different role...but wait a minute...she might have abdicated...and called for 'new leadership'...which would have meant...oh God no...perhaps there is another level to this whole 'devil and the deep blue sea' business?...and in retrospect - perhaps it is better this way...' - go figure...
