what else? I suspect your hand-in-this, gill...but anyway, mr heapy turned up and did a sterling job...of replacing the kitchen mixer tap...took him 2 hours to do it....go figure.

....and yes there was that much that needed doing...upon all accounts.....in relation to not only removing the mixer tap (that took at least half an hour or more - somebody had put the bolt/screw 'upside down' apparently - under the sink)....oh and the 'inner circle' had rusted....and that had meant many strenuous efforts to remove the mixer tap but to no avail - using all sorts of tools....and after that...well the plastic tube, under the sink - had rubber components in it that needed removing...go figure.......

anyway, I asked him about a boiler 'water top-up' and he replied that he had a VAILLANT BOILER himself...."the best"....and that it didn't matter if the arrow was pointing to the black mark...it could point to the white box - red outlined box, below that black mark.....and it wouldn't do any harm to the boiler....and if the arrow pointed above the black mark....apparently the water would go through the 'overflow pipe' but that 'wouldn't matter' either...go figure....I have had so many different 'plumber opinions' upon that black mark and what is above and below it....in relation to what that means....go figure....
