let me try and remember...was that 'London road' through the Suffolk countryside abandoned because of the A roads and the motorway down to London? was the sign obsolete?...I suppose that it must have been something like that...probably a private road then? mrs fishwick knew about it too...my mother and ann fishwick were to talk about it...after my mother had driven down it....in order to show it to me...so what had it all been about then? let me try and remember...as far as I know...uncle bobby had bought the house but uncle Michael had used it...something like that? mrs fishwick had known people who had lived on that road, too...expensive looking houses...
