alternatively this shot...was to remind me of that very strange conference...2003...held at the shanghai Jiao tong university academic center (a hotel for visiting foreigners as well as Chinese officials/academics)....all of those men in black...not that they were wearing dark glasses but anyway....see previous notes upon 'all of that'...shanghai brought to standstill during the SARS epidemic...campus 'closed down' in relation to the military and a tank at the main gate etc etc....
