well it goes like this...I had visited 'mr stimpy creator' at his home in London, as far as I can remember...various 'interior shots' of his home have gone up on dazzlenation's site....including his cartoon 'stimpy'....here is an example of 'the ren and stimpy show' from dazzlenation's site, today...
that M&S spicy oriental chicken broth....stimpy creator was to laugh that he used to catch the mussels himself...inferring the thames river....and then reassured me that he got them from the market....his own special recipe...he had all of the ingredients lined up 'on the side'...oh and it is delicious by the way...one of the best things that M&S has done, recently....if you like very hot and spicy soup....
anyway, yesterday in M&S - the woman-in-front-of-me upon the 'fast queue'...was holding two bunches of STOCKS...she was to tell her partner that it looked like they were on a 2 for £4 offer but if they weren't....she would only take one bunch...as it turned out - they were not on 'special offer'....
later on, whilst passing the flowers/plants display...I was to have a look at the STOCKS bucket....it had a huge RED disc upon the side of it...stating 2 for £4....and then in smaller type underneath 'upon certain selected flowers' or something like that...and guess what? STOCKS were not part of that special offer....I had a look at the other flower buckets...some of them had a tiny sticker upon the side...stating that they were part of the 2 for £4 deal...how blatant, I thought....what is M&S up to with their RED labels/stickers/discs in terms of cheating their customers - 'on the sly'?
anyway, the SHELLFISH joke...and the SHELF-ish (M&S shelves filled with flower buckets)...go figure...that is why the whole thing, was to come back....
along with the COCK-EL and the MUSS-EL....remember little colin and Michael Richardson - at his mother's home, in the 60s....elevenses....and that shellfish/eel meal....little colin was rather confused as to what was the 'male' opposed to the 'female' - to then be corrected by Richardson/marr...go figure...
oh and 'that's me'...looking at my receipt...having realised that I hadn't got my 'special offer' etc etc....
