and er....i'm not sure about 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree' as an expression, within this context...only that atwill appears to have been claiming that jooish cannibalism as a 'culture' had started off in roman times, during the siege of jerusalem by the roman army....where the jooish rebels had been starved to point that they had had to eat the dead-on-the-streets including a man that they had previously hailed as the 'jooish messiah'....this is what backs atwill's argument that the flavians had made a very cruel farce out of the whole history...which they then enshrined in a 'mock religion' which became known as 'christianity'....a culture which incorporated cannibalism as its main rite i.e. 'holy communion'....and if atwill is in any way 'on the mark' regarding all of that...well, the whole enterprise appears to have backfired upon the romans....because their mock religion took off to the extent that eventually the roman emperor 'constantine the great' converted etc etc....as it goes, eh?
