...and what's new this Sunday evening, dazzlenation...let me see...and well off of the top of my head....nobody really wants to commit suicide, do they?....there is such a huge taboo against it etc etc....something so deeply rooted - regarding the survival instinct...not to mention social/cultural/religious concerns....and yet having read so many novels....new releases about looking after the dying who have not been given any sort of 'choice'.....kept alive artificially and in pain by healthcare professionals....because to administer more pain-killers would shorten their lives....this is cutting edge medical science gone more than a bit awry.....and I suppose that the authors of those novels - most probably had personal experience of etc etc....anyway, perhaps if it was rephrased....approached from a different angle....something along the lines of....it is 'okay' to take as many strong painkillers if the terminally ill patient so desires....even if it shortens their life etc etc?....to date, I recently learned about what had happened to Sarah Holliday and toby macklin....both appear to have been 'accidental' deaths....overdose by pills 'n' alcohol....a passive-aggressive number, I would guess....because nobody really wants to etc etc and yet they do etc etc...a subconscious thing, perhaps?....the death wish and the survival instinct in conflict etc etc....go figure:
