....and what else, dazzlenation?...well, 'good news' from a CHP planner called Carla and her contact Leigh from housing heating operations....who are coming to survey a new boiler for one of my neighbours and can therefore pop in at midday to ensure that my flat's relatively new boiler is topped up and give me instructions upon how to do so...seeing as this winter looks likely to be a tough one...worst case scenario - the boiler cuts out and I am unable to top it up over the Christmas period etc etc...the problem is that nobody appears to be willing to give me a LED screen booklet of the boiler codes...which is why when it cut out the last time - I had no idea of what the code meant upon the screen and so once an engineer had come round to explain that it needed topping up...and showed me how on the screen...I had assumed that I would remember but that was some time ago now etc etc...come to think of it - I really need to insist upon one of those boiler codes books - in case something worse than just needing topping up occurs etc etc...the old system was simpler...you just turned the valve, watched the needle rise etc etc...as it goes, eh?
