 ....and what's new upon 'weather watchers', dazzlenation?...and well, look at that orange sky above clavering.....hmmm....ms-bright-ling-see had been called jane and i sense her hand behind the following....all about 'upside-down', eh?...whilst searching for that norwegian x-mas tree, let us say...with a sidelong glance at lennon and 'marmalade skies'...oh and the next clump in the offing, appears to be something around 'a christmas carol'....nota bene BBC radio 3 is renewing its 'invent a tune' for a christmas poem/carol competition.....david bentley's was played, saturday morning...additionally, there is a mark r 'ghosts of christmas' reference....go figure:

Which of these carols is the biggest earworm?

hmmm.....ms bright-ling-see had been compromised, i take it?..something around tomlinson's program and the 'ning', let us say...anyway, the entries are immeasurably better, this year - than the last time i was to etc etc...go figure:

a carol is supposed to be cheerful and religious....and so the general tone/choral singing/melodies are right....however, the words are more of a paean to nature...is that important?....i suppose that it is in line with the PC 'happy holidays' inclusive number:

The Winter’s Brightening by Niall Campbell

Turn up the lights of a light-filled room,
outside the winter’s closing in,
the night is cold – but here’s the tune:
look here, the winter’s brightening;
Down goes the sun like honeycomb,
up pulls the storming winds and rain,
but here’s the moon, its full white bowl.
Look here, the winter’s brightening.
Love sets the plates and lays the meal
love is the winter’s welcoming,
its snow-white door, its turning key;
look here, the winter’s brightening.

along with something around gareth malone, at abbey road - dazzlenation, according to ms bright-ling-see:
