....and what's new this wednesday evening, dazzlenation?...well, having survived the RCT....and yes dr khan and his assistant had had a tough time of it, as well...finding the right equipment to suit etc etc....apparently the tooth was a very rare case....not often seen...the root canal was diversified...and so he had a very hard time trying to locate it...anyway, after a bit of microsurgery upon the gum, he then went on to tackle 'where-it-was'...because the root canal was apparently hidden, in some way...one was at a different angle....lol....at first, it appeared to be at 16mm but he knew that they were normally at 19mm....and it didn't feel right - as he probed around...until eventually he found it...talking me through it as he did so, which is always helpful...."this is taking a lot longer than usual" etc etc and afterwards "i nearly gave up!"....anyway, at the time - he had told his assistant that it was definitely 'fuji'....more laughter.....omg....took me back to warwick...and the japanese telling me about "snaggle teeth but it's not really that"....a larger than usual front lower jaw tooth which had been somewhat pushed out of line...they both had something similar....and yes, my teeth were all a bit uneven, to begin with....nota bene - not like ingabot's case of many teeth overgrowing her first adult teeth, i hasten to add....anyway, the japanese MA students in my flat at claycroft, then began to ask me about my geneaology....and all i could tell them was that according to the 'wyss' - the swiss side of the family might have had a javanese great-grandmother.....anyway, to cut a long story short - dr khan took out the root....fixed it up temporarily but now it will need further treatment - presumably a crown put onto it, later on....oh and then there is also the matter of my x-ray files....which hadn't been transferred from 'together dental' practice.....and so this evening, i was to send the practice manager - a reminder....along with what the receptionist at townview had told me about...apparently i can sign an 'access' form in order to view them - myself....if they do not wish to allow access to another surgery, i suppose....anyway, she was also to tell me that dental x-ray files were used in a similar way to the NHS...something like a common database? - so that everybody should be able to access them, if necessary...but it needs the practice manager to allow another surgery to access them, or something like that...what is the legal aspect, here?...apparently i haven't paid for them and so do not automatically have the right...and so can the surgery insist that they send them?....apparently not - i have to ask for them, to be sent to another practice....but on the other hand - there is no reason as to why they shouldn't...."work in partnership" replies BI online...a bit of a 'grey' area, then?....anyway, having just discovered the site below....lol...looks like the americans probably view japanese teeth, as similar to the british...as in a 'bad teeth' number.....go figure:

Plexus and double teeth| Nagatsuda Orthodontic Clinic in Machida City, Yokohama City (nagatsutakyouseishika.com)

hmmm....last week, i had checked the price list and found that aya was charging less for 4 fillings....and so naturally i had wanted to keep my options open....a difference of £260....but upon second thoughts....perhaps it is all about building up my back teeth.....dr khan had noted that if he did the composite bonding upon my front teeth - that the back teeth would have to be built up so that my 'bite' was all right.....something that aya hadn't told me about....which probably costs more....anyway, dr khan was to tell me that until he had the x-ray files - he couldn't book another appointment etc etc....and so 'nothing doing' for the time being....watch this space....and yes, upon second thoughts - dazzlenation.....dr khan is obviously an experienced dental surgeon....and 'together dental' doesn't appear to hire dentists that can do that type of work....which i will need again, in the future...and so probably best to stay upon their books - get them to do the whole lot, eh?
