....and then it is back to bridgerton, again - dazzlenation.....lol....with a few more notes to add....first up, MI6 'john' was to choose the author, let us say...although it was his department, that did all of the writing up of a certain 'yellow folder' outline....let me try to remember....my CIA contact was to think up the initial title....in short, bridgerton had been inspired by 'bridgetown'....whilst the whole idea, behind this populist 'mills-and-boon' meets jane austen etc etc.....the main point of it all was 'anti-racism' in relation to the casting....anybody could 'own' it....as a fantasy...no real historical accuracy really frees you up to write anything you want....lots of glamorous costumes/decor....a feelgood job for a new generation....go figure:
