...and what else is in the news, dazzlenation?....oh-oh...i should have mentioned this before....capaldi had left so many memory aids, whilst at a certain residence in shirley, west midlands  and so you'd better ask him about it all - see previous posts upon all of that...and apart from the 'useless irishman' aka CF lying on the floor....and the 'nasty plant - really poisonous' aka robert webb (who had also just entered the living room etc etc)....he was also to make reference to the 'green stamps man'....now, that used to refer to what oscar used to collect, in the 70s....in order to claim free glasses....BP greenshield stamps....and now?....go figure:

anyway, the odd thing is...reading through where you could get your 'green shield stamps' is that oscar used to get them at the local petrol station....which i am pretty sure was a BP one....and yes, i can remember BI looking into it, at the time....there had been a petrol station but etc etc....just down the road from olton library, before the bridge upon the warwick road....oh and i can remember going down to that petrol station - as a child...to ask if oscar could purchase the glasses without using stamps etc etc...to  be told "no"...and yes, it had been that important, for no apparent reason....anyway, the manager's response was rather odd..."don't you know how important they are?....you are only allowed to use green shield stamps to" etc etc...isn't that strange....and so yes, naturally i suspect another masonic/dearlove number, in operation:

additionally, there are the following stamps....which were sold at gas stations in the US...may department anybody?

'OUT OF GAS' SIGNS HAVE CROPPED UP ALL OVER THE PORTLAND AREA etc NARA - 548174 (Ke4roh restore) - S&H Green Stamps - Wikipedia

can we link this all up, yet - dazzlenation?...something around 'may' and the 'mayflower'?

and yes, that is the BP logo but BI didn't appear to think that it was run by BP for some reason:

why would they think that?
