....oh and upon the note of 'palliative care', dazzlenation....i should mention the following, although perhaps i shouldn't....anyway, remember my time upon PF and being 'farmed out' to other so-called 'beds' that were available for the night...because i was apparently taking up a bed - despite having been sectioned for a month - against my will..."bed-blocking" according to some of the nurses..."you're not really mad" etc etc.....and so i was sent to a variety of different NHS 'institutions' let us say....where there was a 'free bed for the night'....in fact, it was a bit of a tourist's guide, in a way - to what was 'on offer' regarding healthcare and across such a range of locations etc etc....lol....anyway, most 'NHS faculties' used to have 'windowless rooms' (i.e. in the middle of the building) for their residents suffering from dementia/alzheimer's - according to that MI5 psychiatric nurse....i was to query him upon it...."they don't need it" he replied (i.e. rooms-with-windows)......and having happened upon one such tiny room - in the clacton complex...i had decided to 'open a door by mistake' to see what was going on....down a long corridor...and guess what?....i was to see a room devoid of anything...no belongings, no plants or other such personal paraphernalia, no nothing, no sunlight, no windows....and two beds that almost fitted the entire small room...they were both sitting up in bed and staring at me....i apologised for entering their room.....they remained motionless....i waited....no motion or movement, whatsoever....anyway, the key word for BI - this morning is PARAPHERNALIA....lol...go figure.
