....and what's new this wednesday evening, then - dazzlenation?....well, my first laugh of the evening came...as i scrolled down the following BBC article to find a certain photograph....instantly reminded me of lisa 'n' block of wood...i then reminisced, if that is the right word....see previous notes upon what rimington et al had got up to at a certain polling station upon kineton green road, solihull - in the early 70s...."it's for their own good" etc etc...remember the old 'pencil trick' as robert was to call it, far more recently....lol....and yes, i had been made to help in the changing of polling cards....armed with an eraser, in those days and so the next question that i would like to pose is etc etc........go figure:

Officials had warned before election day that we might have to wait days or even weeks for the presidential result this year because of the surge in postal ballots.
and having skimmed the rest of the article, dazzlenation....well, they're going to have to police the post offices, aren't they?....let me see....an independent branch of the federal etc etc and yes, i didn't read that quite correctly but you know what i mean....very careful wording going on there, in the wiki entry....hmmm...that is a difficult one, isn't it?...if only because rimington had been MI5...and 'federal' tends to mean FBI in my book....'trust no one' etc etc.....lol....americans are far more trusting than the british, aren't they - dazzlenation?....see previous notes upon the surprise expressed by americans-in-the-UK recently - at the basic lack of trust expressed by most of the UK population, regarding their political leaders...whatever their political persuasion...."they're all as bad as each other"...."nothing ever changes, does it"...."don't vote it only encourages them"....etc etc....go figure:
The United States Postal Service (USPS; also known as the Post Office, U.S. Mail, or Postal Service) is an independent agency of the executive branch of the United States federal government responsible for providing postal service in the United States, including its insular areas and associated states. It is one of the few government agencies explicitly authorized by the United States Constitution.
