....and what's new this wednesday evening, dazzlenation?...'the quest for pants'....hmmm...'pants' used to be one of daldry's favourite words...used to make him laugh so much and for no apparent reason....anyway, one of my personal 'bugbears' of the moment...is that the BBC etc are repeatedly telling us how untold billions have been spent upon 'furlough' and yet the media is surprisingly quiet - regarding who has actually been allocated furlough money etc etc....my point, in all of this?...if the 'furlough' money had been spent upon the NHS in the beginning, then we wouldn't have needed 'lockdown' etc etc...because the NHS would have been able to cope....the reason for 'lockdown' has been consistently given, along the lines of 'if we don't 'lockdown' - the NHS will not be able to cope'....and so this evening, i was to go in search of 'furlough stories/examples'...and i've only been able to find a couple of examples, so far - upon the internet...starting with managers for YPIA....
