...all in all, there is a certain sense of humour involved, here - isn't there, dazzlenation?...and it is somewhat reminding me of dartington....see previous notes upon 'all of that'....and what do I mean by that?...something around how a 'true artist' has to be more than technically brilliant...they also have to put their heart and soul...blood 'n' guts into the work...show that they have been 'tortured' whilst trying to work something out....and then there are those who are really quite reserved and don't really go for the show but not tell approach...and for whatever reasons...lesser artistes, one might say?...and it all ends up rather comical, in a way...oh and I'm not saying that is true of every piece of work on show at akzonobel, dazzlenation...just, some of them...go figure:
