.....and what else, dazzlenation?...well, i had assumed that the 'ECC guest' option via a tendring county council logo page - where you just had to enter your full name and telephone number (no mention of the college) to then be given a password - was available to all living in the area i.e. those who pay council tax here, seeing as there has been a recent wifi outage in clacton and because of that etc etc...oh and dona had called it a problem regarding "atmospherics" whatever that might mean and yes, others living in belle court have also been affected - no wifi available in their flats etc etc....anyway,  i have just found out the following....isn't it odd?...i was logged onto their network - without being a teacher or student - i wonder 'why'?....oh and having googled 'ECC guest' to find the following url - which is upon a completely different page to the one that i had logged onto...the former had simply been a council logo underneath which was 'add your details' i.e. full name and telephone number - to then be given a 'pass' number....a little misleading, perhaps?....anyway, i then received an email - see below....again no mention of the college....only the county council logo, again....anybody could log on, couldn't they, really etc etc.....see previous posts....go figure:

.....and the account expires today...a rather short 'pass', then?....anyway, i've managed to log onto the EE network again...to send another email of complaint....to then be turfed off it....logged out by 'whoever' or 'whatever'....additionally, google had figured that 'queue' as in www.queue.ee.co.uk was to blame for some reason....go figure.
