....and what's new this monday evening - dazzlenation?...well, if you want to know the origins of 'lady whistledown'....first up, i had suggested a fat and pretty character as one of the leading ladies..."we can't be fatist, either" etc etc...sue then suggested 'poison-pen' letters....i thought up the name 'thistledown' as in rather prickly....she replied "whistledown"....and her reason....the masons and their 'whistling' - along with  their poisonous grapevine....go figure.
