....and what else, dazzlenation?...well, an incident in ALDI at the self-service tills, the other morning....i was to fish in my purse for a pound coin...to find something bright 'n' shiny....it appeared to be a pound coin and so i tried it in the slot....it came straight back out, down below....and so i inspected it...to see that it was a king charles number...i'd never been given one in change, before...and so i laughed and held it out to the assistant who inspected it and replied in disgust "it's got bugs on it!"...i pocketed it and thought no more than....ALDI doesn't accept the new coinage....lol....hmmm....upon second thoughts....remember gill in the late 70s or was it early 80s - it had been - i had been at sixth form, at the time...and the location?....that rather strange nightclub in b'ham - the holy city zoo or something like that....a rather 'select' venue etc etc...."a cannibal party" replies BI online...well, yes - that had been the theme, for the evening - as organised by browne....anyway gill had been presented with that newly minted and as yet uncirculated 'pound coin' and he had been given it by the very young prince harry - surrounded by 'minders'/courtiers....men-in-black at any rate, a largish bunch of them...a bit like a 'minyan' in a way?.....for winning that 'young mafia gangs' of the year award (or something like that) upon prince phillip's system...and so one wonders about the red-headed-league as run by a former member of gill's teenage gang of boys - from solihull public boys' school....and how that 2023 coin had ended up in my purse....if ALDI doesn't accept them through the tills....then er...i must have been given it in change from morrison's...and yes, funnily enough - supermarkets differ...regarding what coins will work and which ones won't...i've tested 'that one' out....sometimes the coin won't work in any of them - regarding self-service tills and so i then have to use it in a shop over the counter etc etc...oh and another thing, 'harry' is supposed to have been born in 1984...and yet, lady diana's sons had been knocking around for quite some time before that....i have no explanation for 'that one'...a bit of a mystery, eh?...about 10 years older than they claim to be, perhaps?...but then, hey - colin farrell had been the same....see previous notes upon 'all of that'....go figure:
