....having opted for right-click 'inspect'...i was to find out that the button class was clear the login form start-over, this evening - dazzlenation....regarding that essex libraries login page....hmmm....earlier on - i had visited the library to find out what the problem was...a rather young assistant (linda's mob are few on the ground, nowadays - appears to be some sort of training centre for young staff) was to have a look....seeing as i was having the same problem upon the library 'reservations' computer....he took some time to find out what it was...and then decided that it might have been the fact that i had pressed 'enter' instead of clicked on the login button....hmmmm....i had firstly clicked on that....and then tried again with 'enter'....anyway, "it's working now!" he said cheerfully after having taken a note of my password and number, to enter them manually himself and then click login, for the second time....i might add that it hadn't worked the first time, for him - either....the odd thing about this all...is that the chrome browser kept on telling him to login....he looked puzzled...and then told me that it shouldn't do that....i asked him if he thought that it was a problem with the browser...he looked puzzled again and asked me why there should be a problem with chrome....it was the library system....hmmm....new to me but then i haven't logged onto a library computer in years....however, when i used to do so....'chrome' wasn't used as a browser....and yet now - it is ever-present...kept on throwing up pages - asking the user for their google login password...."it shouldn't do that" he commented...no, it shouldn't....the library system shouldn't be asking you to do that.....go figure.
