.....anyway, this morning i was reminded of evans et al....who had indicated that the UK would most probably end up like the eastern europe that we had all once experienced - early 90s.....which gave me pause for thought....for example - so many highly qualified/skilled immigrant doctors nowadays, in this country....and i daresay that is because of the general state of education in this country, today (all still on the D.O.S - like webb et al from my generation?) etc etc...oh and macklin et al - had thrown a graham greene novel into-the-mix at the library.....stamboul train - a paperback with a british passport upon the front cover ....go figure:
