....and from the macro to the micro - dazzlenation?....well, that construction work regarding clacton travelodge appears to be never-ending....the noise pollution from their motor which appears to power up a scaffolding lift and when it's not doing that - it's powering up their tools....which results in such a stench of diesel in my flat....it's like standing behind a bus!....in short, i have to keep the windows shut and as it is getting hotter and hotter....this is getting pretty intolerable....and everybody is complaining, around here - not just belle court residents etc etc....anyway, CHP has said that it will put a 'neighbourhood team' onto it, to see what can be done....next up?...well, eliot asbrey came round to inspect the bathroom...he then told me that he would get in contact with CHP - find out what they would fund in terms of re-tiling-redecoration etc etc....in short, the work should take about 4 days and so i was left wondering if i should move out, for the duration....the noise and the smell....remember all of that fixative they have to use when sealing etc etc...not to mention fresh paint drying.....i mean to say - it's hardly tolerable outside of the block...to have it inside my flat as well....hmmm....i wonder if CHP can offer me alternate accommodation for the duration?.......come to think of it - seeing as DGS windows were also to call....to tell me that they would be in contact with CHP about replacing that living room window...it would probably be best if i ask CHP to oversee the repairs - leave them with the keys and exit until it is all done and the paint has dried etc etc....you see - they'll have to keep the windows open in order to get rid of the smell....bathroom and living room....which lets in the noise and diesel fumes etc etc....oh and there's more if that wasn't enough...thursday evening, a bathroom basin tap started to leak at the base and so i've had to report that repair, as well - on top of etc etc....go figure.
