and so the next question, dazzlenation...is all about the 'lawful bases' for processing data without your consent....a bit of a 'muddled' area, legally - I would say...for example, do NHS staff qualify...in relation to the umbrella term 'public authority' etc etc...normally the domain of the police etc etc....see previous posts...go figure:
...anyway, having skimmed through a bit of the web page, above because I can hardly be bothered, this evening...I began to wonder if this is all about a certain 'grey area', relating to the increasing 'privatisation' of the NHS?...e.g. what if the NHS begins to tell their 'clientele' that if you want their service...then you have to waive 'consent' etc etc...in relation to 'consent as a condition of service':
