anyway, what else? well upon a practical and mundane level...MI5 were online to warn me about 'Thomas freeman' - that plumbing appointment booked with aaron services ltd for the morning of the 27th of april...."at the very least the masons will try to mess you around"...which apparently means that he will turn up - say that he has to go off and look for a part...and then either not return at all..."or ring your doorbell at 8pm or later on"...yes I can see how it might go...and so all I have to do is to remind him that the booking is between 8am and 12 midday...and that I will be 'out' after 12...and so we'd better arrange another booking for another day if he decides to turn up later than that with the 'part'...okay - got it...because if he thinks that he can mess me around by turning up 'whenever he feels like' afterwards...he's got another think coming...etc etc...

what else? well guess what...the corridor light upon my flat corridor isn't working again - and so the corridor is in darkness - because of that firedoor - 24 hours a day...and I don't suppose that CHP will have that light fixed by Wednesday - do you?
