You can get some idea of the roof of the HIRSCHEN HOTEL from the above pic...but it is much better viewed at night to get the 'full effect'....the fairylights everywhere...which pick out the 'feathery detail' of the sloping roof...it looks just like a 'big bird'...an OWL of types...

When I visited this hotel - booked by my father - mid-2006...I had many flashbacks....see previous notes...not least 'Russian intelligence' with a sniper in the house opposite - to protect me, 'just in case'...I flashbacked to 1980...BI had been put up in that hotel...and in 2006, I was retracing steps and retrieving memory...
