I haven't looked at this website yet...because NORTON thinks that it might have embedded viruses etc etc...but I am now beginning to 'get the hint'...the IRISH sometimes but not often, tend to talk a load of blarney about other countries but when they do - they are 'victorious' with their 'rhetoric', 'passion' and 'human sympathy' vote (unless they do it to those like the POLES in terms of 'we have suffered as much as you - because of those English bastards' - because a few thousand of us died during a potato famine, a few centuries ago - and the POLES put them right upon that one, in no uncertain terms, in cold anger at the 'association' and "NO YOU CERTAINLY HAVEN'T SUFFERED AS WE HAVE DONE - GET REAL") ...and the IRISH had better get real about what is happening to their own...what do you care about more? Another country or your own?

'Islander mentality' - yes I can now see that it is a 'real problem' and telling them to 'get real' isn't the solution, is it?

So what is?

The IRISH tend to figure - unless put 'right' by an Eastern European - that their country has suffered more than any other....that POTATO FAMINE...that POTATO FAMINE...that POTATO FAMINE...

The EASTERN EUROPEAN input in terms of 'you weren't occupied by the NAZIS and then the COMMUNISTS within a single century - and the accompanying horrors' - doesn't seem to make much difference to the 'mindset' of an IRISH NATIONAL on the 'rhetorical warpath' let us say...they have suffered more, or at least as much as anybody else and from any country...because of that POTATO FAMINE...that POTATO FAMINE...that POTATO FAMINE...

POLES trying to put them right upon that one - for example - giving them a list of 'far more terrible things that happened to POLAND' during the POTATO FAMINE and for that matter within 'every single century' and that the POLES actually feel 'insulted' by the IRISH, who are belittling them by trying to make them feel as if their suffering was on a par to what happened to IRELAND, upon an historical basis, when that was quite obviously not the case...are not 'registered' by your 'IRISH NATIONAL' on his or her 'rhetorical warpath' (and the two 'fall out' badly)...so what is really going on there?

There is more to this, than meets the eye...

The TASCHMANNS had their historical basis, within IRELAND.

i would guess that this had 'a lot to do with what happened' but how and why?

COLETTE warned me that the HANDTASCHERS were far worse than the PARASOLS (PRINCE OF MONACO outfit) but both were really terrible...just because you had a choice between one and the other...didn't make it a 'good one'...
