You could buy a quick and easy...but highly expensive present (for us, teenagers) as in a cardboard box of FUDGE.

However, if you couldn't afford that one - you could buy a box of rock-hard TOFFEE...which broke most people's teeth...

In fact, I can remember now...HELEN BROWNE was the only person with strong enough teeth to be able to deal with that toffee...so she used to end up with box loads of it...
