you left cctv in that bedroom....to film those who used to use that sonar equipment....and one of them had looked a bit like Bernard manning, hadn't he? they were to find out almost immediately that they had been rumbled....things 'out of place' etc etc....oh and the other man had been slighter...a thin man...go figure:
