anyway, a change of subject...from the macro to the micro...

this morning I was to ring my parents' in manningtree to find the ansaphone on....they must be in London, I thought...that Blackheath flat....and so I decided to pen an email....

Thanks for the postcard - i hope that you enjoyed your stay in edinburgh. Life in clacton is pretty much the same - however, the weather has been quite extreme this week - electrical storms and flash 'puddling' now and then - although today, it is really hot and sunny.

Did you vote in the EU referendum? i did, yesterday - which was a bit of a 'first' for me - seeing as i don't tend to vote, that often.

Anyway, give me a ring when you are back in manningtree.
