let me give you a clue...I cannot remember 'whereitwas' in the novel...nor the exact wording and so I shall paraphrase....'our hero' who has been diagnosed with TB...falls in love with 'our heroine' who is dying of TB...speaks of her in the following way...along the lines of how can somebody who is so externally 'beautiful' (in terms of attractiveness, seduction etc)...be rotting and decaying in side....do you now see where this is going - in relation to precognition...

naturally having remembered the above...my thoughts were to turn firstly to gill and jade laing....and then the beckhams (apparently she is finding difficulty in parking, nowadays)....do you see how it goes?

anyway, my mother was to describe dying of TB as drowning....you slowly drown in your own blood, apparently...as it enters your lungs...
