let us now have a look at the reviews....for THE CASUAL VACANCY...

i bet THE GUARDIAN one had them reeling in the aisles, after a few too many port and brandies....at that conservative club...

"look chaps! our best review is in THE GRAUNDIAD!"...cue much laughter and from all sides....

...but that didn't stop the 'rowling machine' did it? those gilbraith books then appeared - go figure.

Let me see...and I have the cctv back now...of boris rolling up his shirtsleeves and indulging in a bout of mock wrestling with an equally pissed....sorry equally enthusiast chum of his...in that conservative 'gentleman's club'....

ah...and the line below...boris was to claim that he had written it to then be booed down by his chums....several baritone voices were to growl "CLEGG! CLEGG! CLEGG!" and boris had to back down, in the end.

".....respectable novels seldom offer these days. If that's the case, then Rowling might see a backlash over the next few months."

so THE GUARDIAN article whilst being terribly 'nice' about it...ends with a warning - interesting.
