an 'odd one' this evening...having planned to watch some pre-recorded items on the BBC iplayer...I decided to buy a new top-up voucher from Sainsbury's 'just in case'...knowing that I had over 2000 left in MY3 account...

I duly used the voucher...to then get 'this message' pop up from the MY3 console upon this laptop's desktop....

 

anyway, it was obvious nonsense...I had quite a bit left over from the last voucher and I had just topped up by another £25 voucher...and so having read that the top-up sometimes doesn't show up, for a few minutes...I switched off my internet connection...to turn it on again...and check my account...which had now returned to normal - go figure:
