anyway, I was to watch both SOLMON KANE and THE VINTNER'S LUCK to realise that both were about 'col the sol'...col-o-man the sol-o-man? the 'continuity device' used to link both films and main characters within those films was 'a scar upon the cheek'...kane has one (given to him by his father) and the demonic angel has one in the vintner's luck....

I can remember graham Norton laughing along the lines of "david bowie was behind it?" i.e. the creation of the angel/demon character...he was also to laugh about how he would try to get col the sol on his show...'in wings' and 'on wires' from the studio ceiling....a Christmas 'special'?

what else? gill was to watch 'the vintner's luck' and also id with the angel/demon character 'at the end'...the one who fell to earth or came up from the deep...either way....somewhere inbetwixt and inbetween eh gill?...see previous notes upon martine and henry identifying with 'that number' in relation to WUTHERING HEIGHTS...and I suppose that the prague Rothschild team of 'blood angels' might feel the same way...along the lines of "we're not that bad but we're not that good either"...something like that?

what else? I was left wondering why the vintner closely resembled DAVID SOUL...that cannot have been accidental can it?
