google is advertising their cultural institute today...let me see...I was thinking about the dutch Nazi party this morning...having remembered visiting Indonesia...to learn about that terrible colonial dutch history...and to see the present-day effects of 'extreme capitalism'...you see I had been thinking about what dabydeen had said about british and French Guyana...how the effects of French colonialism were not as unpleasant, apparently - in cultural terms...as british colonialism...I then thought about south America and tried to imagine a Spanish Guyana...and then a dutch one...
