OTHER NOTES:

....adding to that previous post on 'the battle of the nail clippers'...I can remember Michael Richardson's gang being extremely competitive as very young boys...and it wasn't just height, was it?

I can remember them all vying to be 'the prettiest of them all'...see previous notes upon them with longish hair in maxi skirts....

obviously I was out of the running...

anyway, the rest of the gang were to shout at each other "I'm prettier"...to "no, I'M PRETTIER"....and "I'M PRETTIER THAN ALL OF YOU"....(and i'll kick your shins in if you don't agree) etc etc...

....so unlike 'little girls' but as pretty as the prettiest little girls at school, in those early childhood years...

"and so it wasn't just colin, was it?" replies MI5 ONLINE.....no, they were all like that...Andrew marr, jonathan ross, Robert webb etc....anyway, as children - they all had to be pulled apart, by programmers - after that 'who is the prettiest of them all' row...which had begun to turn into a fight, at the time - and would have ended up as an all-out-rugby-skirmish...well, anybody could see that....and so it was nipped in the bud, along the lines of "you are ALL pretty" and that was that.

...however it takes a bit more than 'just being pretty' to have a successful 'high-profile' career in the media/tv/film...doesn't it? as adults they weren't that much 'better-looking' than your average bloke...but what they had was 'charisma' - how else does one put it?
